Clandestina presents the inaugural edition of its Artists Residency: a year-long collaboration between the artists and the fair to expand their proposal and develop new opportunities for experimentation.
Residency
The Feria Clandestina Artists Residency pairs selected artists with the fair for a full year. Rather than a single exhibition moment, the residency gives artists sustained time, support and a public platform to grow their practice.
This year, we launched the inaugural Clandestina Artists Residency with Hannah Banciella and Carin Ingalsbe. What began as a loose idea took shape thanks to their patience, adaptability, and genuine love for Clandestina.
Ticket sales purely cover the costs of the evening and the artists’ residency stipend. If you can join us, bring a friend, or forward this to a collector who would cherish seating with us.
Artists
Hannah Banciella
Multimedia artist based in Miami. During the residency, Hannah is developing new ceramic work alongside her drawing practice, including the handmade tableware for The Fire Eaters.
Carin Ingalsbe
Artist working across ceramics and photography. During the residency, Carin is expanding her ceramic practice, including the handmade tableware for The Fire Eaters.
Tableware Feast
For this inaugural dinner, Hannah and Carin have created a dinner-table activation in which the tableware takes each guest on a visual feast of contemporary ceramic practices.
Each of the three courses is served on one-of-a-kind pieces made by the artists.
The collection The Fire Eaters will be available for acquisition to attendees.
