Clandestina is thrilled to announce its selection as part the projects showing at the first edition of TOGETHER. Works by local artists, including studio work from artists involved in COLLABO 7 will take over Room 215 at The 7 Seas Motel in Biscayne strip.
TOGETHER is a breeding ground for creative innovation among organizations who work beyond the limits of sociopolitical contexts and logistical constraints. TOGETHER highlights the most exciting non-profit initiatives,alternative institutions, hybrid spaces, artists’ collectives and unconventional enterprises devoted to a boundless artistic practice.
The 7 Seas Motel
The iconic 7 Seas Hotel is one of the oldest motels located within the historic Biscayne Boulevard. The 7 Seas has a storied history which includes sets for Donnie Brasco, Dexter and No Pain No Gain.
The Property will undergo a reinvention in 2022 under the stewardship of Sagar Desai and Activate Hospitality.

About COLLABO 7
As part of the projects presenting at The 7 Seas Motel during the 2021 Miami Art Week, local artists will take over rooms and common areas of the motel for Collabo 7. The "Collabo" show has carried on as a (nearly) bi-annual, artist-run pop up for almost 17 years. Each iteration of collabo has centered around a single theme - Collaborative art-making - and has acted as an event which consistently mingles the entire Miami Art community on equal terms with no motive other than strengthening ties between members of the arts community.
