Acrylic on canvas
39.4 × 47.2 × 2 in
Created during the COVID-19 pandemic, Atómico reflects the sudden and overwhelming impact of a moment that transformed the world. The work uses the metaphor of an atomic explosion—an unexpected force that disrupted everyday life and altered our perception of reality. Its intense reds, blacks, and grays evoke the uncertainty, rupture, and collective shock of that time.
